Coming Home

Coming Home is an improvisation-driven performance work that considers the body as a place of return; a shifting site of belonging, memory, and relation. Emerging from a practice that moves between the individual and collective responsiveness, where the dancing belongs to the individual, but to that which transpires through the group, the work unfolds through dancers continually oscillating between dancing and watching. In this way, Coming Home traces how a sense of ‘home’ is formed not only in relation to place, but also through one’s own embodied experiences and the subtle transmissions that occur within a group. The work invites the audience into this shared terrain where relational presence shapes the pathways of dancing and watching.
